PPCE Application Requirements

Please read the following carefully before you start your application.

• BioData with Photograph to be uploaded
• Educational Qualifications There should be no overlaps in your Education and NYSC/Employment History. Ensure that your dates are accurate.
• Employment/Practice History

• Supervision - with Supervisors details (NIA/ARCON details, email/phone, Practice License)
  Only supervisors who fulfil all of the following criteria will be recognized:
  • Supervisor must be fully registered and financial with ARCON and NIA.
  • Supervisor must be a financial fully ARCON registered Architect.
  • Supervisor must have attained a minimum of 5 YEARS post registration experience as at the commencement of exercising supervisory role with the candidate.
  • It is generally expected that your supervisor is your employer. However, in the event that this is not so, your supervisor MUST be someone who continually reviews, oversees and approves Architectural-related work carried out by you.
• Guarantors - details (NIA/ARCON details, email/phone, Practice License)
  Note: Guarantors must be fully Registered Architects with a minimum of 5 YEARS post-registration and financially up to date.
  Your Supervisor CANNOT serve as your Guarantor.
• Certificates and Documents (PDFs, 2MB max). The following may be required depending on your application
  
  • O'Level Certificate
  • BSc Arch Certificate
  • MSc Arch Certificate
  • NYSC (Discharge or Exemption) Certificate
  • ARP Certificate
  • Provisional Stage I Certificate
  • Provisional Stage II Certificate
  • Evidence of Change of Name (if applicable)
  • Supervisors' Practice License and Curriculum Citae (CV) (each Supervisor)
  • Guarantors' Practice License (each Guarantor)

Important Application Notes

Please note the following to get started.

• Associate Members of the NIA
  

  - If you are already an Associate Member or have already applied for Associate Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects and have a myNIA portal login, please log in to complete the PPCE application.
  - If you are not yet an Associate Member of the NIA or have not applied for Associate Membership before now, you will be required to submit same by paying an Application Fee of ₦ 5,000.00 during this PPCE Application.

  Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects
• ARCON Provisional Stage II Registered Provisional Stage II Registration with ARCON
  

  - If you do not have ARCON Provisional Stage 2 Registration you will pay an Application Fee of ₦ 10,000.00 during PPCE registration.
  - Note:If you do not also have a Provisional Stage I Registration, you will need to pay an additional ₦ 5,000.00 for Provisional Stage I.

• Non-Refundable PPCE Application fee of ₦ 25,000.00
